Learning To Let Go

Jul 22, 2022

I have just been writing some programs and putting information together for corporate and personal training. Time and time again there are common themes that seem to arise. Questions are brought to me about what we can do in both the private and corporate sector. Quality education is a powerful and effective tool that can transform any organization and individual.

Fulfillment and happiness seem to be the missing piece of the puzzle. The missing piece is obscured by people blocking their access to it by holding onto to the Four R’s: reactivity, resistance, rejection, and resentment which bring only pain and suffering. These four R’s are defense mechanisms we use to hold onto our past or future.

While pain is inevitable, suffering is an option. We can easily lead people to successfully accessing this piece of the puzzle to achieve the life and performance they desire. Most people are struggling with the four R’s; because of their fear to allow change to be present in their lives.

While change is inevitable, it is how we deal with change that determines our level of success in moving towards fulfillment and happiness.

Understanding our ego is essential to understanding ourselves and others. It is the belief that we need to hold onto the image of ourselves, our ego, which holds us to these four R’s. Learning and understanding our neurology and how we function frees us from our ego, our story and our pain allowing us to be loving and kind.
